About

Somebody has to keep score.

Eternal Scoreboard exists because the real score was always getting lost, and one of us was tired of losing the argument about who’s actually ahead.

Why this exists

Every recurring game has the same problem. The score lives in a group chat, a notes app, or somebody’s memory, and none of those hold up when it actually matters. Someone remembers 8-3. Someone else swears it’s 6-5. Neither of you can prove it.

Season-based apps don’t fix this, they just reset the argument every few months. We wanted a running total that never resets: log the result after every game, and the record keeps climbing for as long as you keep playing, whether that’s next weekend or ten years from now.

What we build around

One person can keep score for everyone

Only the owner needs an account. Everyone else follows along through a read-only share link, no sign-up, no app to install.

Logging a result should be faster than texting about it

Two taps and the standings update. If it takes longer than sending the group chat a message, we've failed at the one job this app has.

Records are permanent

No artificial sunsetting, no deleting boards for going quiet. Rivalries have off-seasons, and the history is still there when they pick back up.

You own your data

Exportable on request, never sold, and if we ever shut down, lifetime members get 90 days' notice and a full export before anything closes.

Who it’s for

Friend groups, families, and coworkers with a game they keep coming back to, chess, ping pong, Mario Kart nights, the fantasy football league, the office poker table. One person creates the scoreboard and logs the results; everyone else follows the standings through a share link, no account required.

Start your record.

Free for one rivalry, forever. Upgrade only when it needs more room.
