What is Eternal Scoreboard?

Eternal Scoreboard is a web app that lets you track ongoing scores between friends, family, or colleagues across any game or competition. Unlike apps that reset by season, your running total keeps climbing for as long as you keep playing.

How does the lifetime access work?

You pay once and get permanent access to every feature, including all future updates. There are no subscriptions, renewal fees, or hidden charges. Our goal is to keep this running indefinitely with no artificial sunsetting and no pivot to subscriptions. See the question below for what we commit to if that ever changes.

Is the free tier a trial?

No. There's no time limit and no card required. One scoreboard with two players is free for as long as you want it.

What happens to my history if I never pay?

Nothing. It stays exactly where it is, complete, and we don't delete scoreboards for going quiet. Rivalries have off-seasons.

What happens if the service ever shuts down?

Shutting down is not the plan, but we believe you deserve a clear commitment either way. If we ever decide to discontinue Eternal Scoreboard, lifetime members will receive at least 90 days' notice and a way to download all their scoreboard data and match history in a standard format before the service closes. Your records belong to you.

What scoring modes are available?

There are two modes. Win / Loss is designed for 1v1 matchups: you log who won each game and the running totals update automatically. Positions mode is for multiplayer sessions: rank all players by finishing order each round and points are awarded automatically based on position.

How many scoreboards and players can I have?

Free accounts get 1 scoreboard with up to 2 players. Eternal (lifetime access) unlocks unlimited scoreboards, each supporting up to 12 players.

Do both players need to pay?

No. Whoever creates the scoreboard buys the licence, and everyone on that board sees the full standings and history through a public share link, no account needed.

Can I share a scoreboard with people who don't have an account?

Yes. Every scoreboard has a public share link that anyone can view without logging in. Spectators can see the standings and full match history, but they cannot make changes.

Can I log scores that happened before I signed up?

Yes. When you add a player you can enter their previous wins to carry over history from before you started tracking here. You can also set a rivalry start date so the duration is accurate.

Can I edit or delete past results?

Yes. Every result in the history log has an Edit and Delete option, so you can correct mistakes or remove test entries at any time.

Is there a mobile app?

Not yet. Eternal Scoreboard is a web app that works in any modern mobile browser. A native app may come in a future update, and lifetime members will get it at no extra cost.

What payment methods are accepted?

Payments are processed securely via Stripe. All major credit and debit cards are accepted.

Can I get a refund?

Yes, within 30 days of purchase, no questions asked. Contact us at hello@eternalscoreboard.app and we'll sort it out.

Is my data private?

Your scoreboards are private by default. Only you can see them unless you share a board via a public link. We never sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

What happens if I forget my password?

Use the "Forgot password" link on the login page. We'll send a reset link to your registered email address.
